New York is just a short walk away from my home. Well, I mean the state line. New York City is about 30 minutes by car from my home but easily accessible. The many areas West of the Hudson River remind me often of the Black Forest in Germany. While this is not true for the rest of the state, it gives you an impression of my surroundings. The mountains to the north are called Bear Mountain; Cat Kills and Aidornadax.
